We have two weeks left of class, so please note the following!
-Everyone's final project is due this Tuesday, December 3rd (I am grading them after class). Any late assignments need to be received Tuesday, December 3rd in order to receive partial credit.
-We will have 15 students on December 3rd, and 10 students December 10th. Please remember what day you signed up for (if you didn't sign up, you are going Dec 3rd).
-POTLUCK DECEMBER 10TH. Bring something tasty, lets have fun on our last day together.

The Narrative
How to tell a story through a series of
images
- For the final project, time, place and subject are up to you. A written proposal must be received and approved by the instructor by the date noted in your syllabus. You will need to create a narrative using the technical skill and art historical background you have acquired during this course. You will presenting a total of 5 images on critique day.
What to bring on critique day: 5 photographs that convey a narrative. Images need to be 5x7 or larger (no larger than 8x10 inches). Please bring push pins and arrive early to install your work. Grading will be based on your effectiveness in telling a story (however abstract it may be), content, execution of idea, composition of images, print quality and the sequential ordering of the images.

A sign up sheet is circulating today and next week for you to sign up for a designated day. Attendance is mandatory both critique days, regardless of which day you critique.

Portrait Lighting, where is the light hitting your subject? Cheat sheets.
Hello, here is hopefully some helpful cheat sheets on where you place the light when photographing your subject (if you decide to use artificial light). In class I showed a demo with cheap clamp lights from Home Depot and a car shade reflector from The Dollar Tree. You can achieve your vision with very little, if you know what you want to do.
